Every individual has dreams, many of them based on our limit perception of the world, in the Holy Bible and colloquially refered to the phrase: 'seeing life through the eyes of a child.' We all used to have them, we sticked to them regardless of what other human beings thought about it, we defended them, we went hard and hustled for them, we gave up less important thing for making a dream come true. But where are the dreams today? Where did they go? Did they vanish? Were they terminated? Harlem Renaissance poet Langston Hughes would probably ask us and the world: "What happens to a dream deferred?"
The truth is, we burried our childish dreams within our deepest subconsciousness, we laid them to bed, laid ’em to rest, replaced them, re-phrased ’em, but will we re-raise them, or will we erase ’em?
This is merely destined to be a motivational wake up call for every individual on this planet, especially for those who burried their dreams, who laid them to bed, laid ’em to rest, re-placed-phrased them, and yet are not sure wether to re-raise them or erase them. Your dreams are not dead, they are merely put on hold. Re-discover them, bring them back to life, and search deep within yourself, question yourself, challenge yourself...in order to re-feel the passion you once had for your dreams, re-gain the love for them. It is not too late to make a dream become reality, in fact, the ones to make theirs come true are the ones to follow and chase their dreams, regardless of all the hardship, all the struggle they had to overcome in order to achieve their goals, in order to make their dreams come true – those are the ones that are living it. The last men standing, the ones containing perserverance, the ones commiting to tenacity, the ones hailing endurance. Do you have the capacity to be one if the few and the proud?
The best day to start making your dreams become reality...is YESTERDAY. Re-grab, re-pick-up the momentum you once had, the passion, and the love for your dreams, "hold fast to dreams", as said by Mr. Hughes, for it seems that this African American gentleman understood the subject matter, or, how we’d nowadays say, he got it. You...need to get it, or as Nike preaches it to us: Just do it! Got anything to lose? Really? That important?
Have a successful year 2012!
